Recently, the German industrial giant SIEMENS announced that it has received the Korat 1 and Korat 2 wind power projects in the northeast of Thailand to provide maintenance and service orders. The contract for up to 13 years, SIEMENS is the first long-term wind power service in Thailand, the expansion of orders.
SIEMENS will provide 90 SWT-2.3-101 wind turbine installation and maintenance services for the project, which is part of the company's digital services portfolio.
According to the SIEMENS project leader said, Korat 1 and Korat 2 wind power project is the largest wind farm project in Thailand, the total installed capacity of 207 mw. These two wind farm is the first public utility scale wind power project in Thailand. SIEMENS will provide maintenance and repair services from the start of the wind power project operation.
